Dr. Elifritz is a board certified Radiologist. She earned her medical degree from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. Dr. Elifritz completed her radiology residency at the University of South Alabama, serving as chief resident. She furthered her training with a musculoskeletal and forensic radiology fellowship at the University of New Mexico where she holds a dual appointment as assistant faculty for the departments of radiology and pathology. Dr. Elifritz is a disciple Dr. Brogdon and a co-author of Child Abuse and its Mimics in Skin and Bone. Additional publications include a book chapter, Forensic Radiology for the Pathobiology of Human Disease: A Dynamic Encyclopedia of Disease Mechanisms. She has presented at the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and has collaborated on presentations for the National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME) and International Society of Forensic Radiology and Imaging (ISFRI).
